Desiree Artesi To Speak on Travelling Courts and Access to Justice

IRI’s Desiree Artesi, along with Mr Justice Colin Makail and John Almeida, are to feature as panelists for the event entitled ‘Taking the courthouse to the people: will travelling courts bring access to justice?” at the Commonwealth Law Conference 2021.

The event, scheduled to take place on September 7th 2021, is to occur within the ambit of the ‘Contemporary Legal Issues’ theme at the Conference. The panel is expected to examine experiences within various Commonwealth jurisdictions and explore possible solutions which best suite the needs of the local populations.
